Halloween in Hyderabad

They don't normally celebrate Halloween in India, but at American companies people get VERY into it. I dressed up as half a pair of dice with Sujatha, one of the girls from the office. People could 'roll' us by spinning the cardboard dice around our necks, which was actually kind of painful. Each number corresponded with a 'misfortune' list that we prepared in advance.

Yes, I realize how dorky I look. This is what happens when you don't prepare a Halloween costume in advance:

We had a costume contest at work. Nic here came in 2nd for his souvenir vendor costume. He walked around saying, "Good price, good price. Tell me how much you want to pay, I give you best price."

The winners were Kevin and Jeff who dressed up as famous India cricket players. They really won the crowd over when they performed a blatant marketing ploy for their sponsor, Pepsi, and dramatically downed cans in the middle of the runway. Ah, product placement:

Here's a cute one of Charise (princess I think?), Kevin, and Keyon (Aladdin):

Digg!
